The LK V range is more than capable of meeting the most demanding requirement for a first-class small to large scale metrology solution.

As with all LK high accuracy CMMs, the design is based around the unique usage of ceramic materials for the construction of the critical bridge and spindle components of the machine, coupled with proven air-bearing design, providing the ultimate in stiffness and stability to deliver significantly improved repeatability.

Key features

  • Granite table and X guideway
  • Ceramic Y and Z guideway
  • High efficiency air bearings
  • Zero hysteresis friction drives
  • Renishaw scales (0.1µm)
  • Probe system: Digital, analogue or laser probe
  • Peck or continuous scanning
  • Stylus and/or probe changer

Key benefits

  • Premium performance
  • High velocities / acceleration for low cycle times
  • Excellent accuracy and repeatability
  • Flexible multi-sensor platform:
touch probes, analog scanning, digital scanning
  • High capacity (loads) table

Typical applications

  • Machined and pressed parts
  • Plastic mouldings
  • Casting and forgings
  • Touch trigger and non-contact inspection
  • Digitizing, scanning and reverse engineering
