Leuven, May 25, 2007 – Metris (MTRS- Euronext Brussels) announces the signing of an agreement with Luc Verstuyft for the position of Chief Financial Officer at Metris. Luc Verstuyft will apply his wide range of experiences in corporate finance, finance management and investor relations to support the continuing growth of Metris.

Luc Verstuyft (°1961), occupied since 2002 the CFO position at Resilux, an international group listed on Euronext Brussels since 1997 active in the manufacturing and sales of PET preforms and bottles. At Fortis Bank, where he worked for almost 15 years, he occupied several functions of which Head of Corporate Finance. He holds a Master of Economic Sciences and a Master of Business Administration.

Luc Verstuyft will strengthen the Metris corporate management team as CFO from August 1, 2007 on, where he will operate alongside CEO Bart Van Coppenolle, COO Philippe Vandormael and CTO Olivier Georis.
