Easy to create, modify and prove out part programs off-line using 3D CAD models
Focus Scan serves off-line and on-line scanner path definition. Focus’ Off-line Scan module enables the user to create, modify and prove out part programs with Collision detection and path verification based on 3D CAD models The user only needs to select the surfaces to automatically generates the optimized scan path. As a result, Focus Scan Off-line provides full coverage of selected surfaces, while adapting scanner motion speed to local geometry. Scanner motion automatically slows down around local curvatures or when more measurement points on the circumference of smaller features need to be captured. Following this automatic procedure, scanning of freeform surfaces can start minutes after the CAD file has been loaded.
